✨ Enhancements

User Experience Improvements

Sales Processing

  • Payment Type Code Maintenance | Review G/L Account During Branch Copy
When copying a Payment Type Code to another branch, the source branch's G/L account is now displayed and can be reviewed or changed before saving, instead of being copied automatically without any visibility.

Inventory Control

  • Special Catalog Maintenance | Modernized Deactivate Products Utility
The utility used to deactivate catalog items has been modernized with a graphical interface. It now includes an Evaluate mode, which reports how many records would be affected before any changes are made, and a Live mode to run the update. A history log is also kept so changes can be reviewed later.

Installation System

  • Staging Orders | Designate a Location and Name
Staging orders in the core system can now be assigned a location and name, matching the capability that has been available on the handheld for some time.

Accounts Receivable

  • Post Customer Payments | Correct Date Column Sorting
Sorting by the Date column in Prior Payments and Credits was grouping records by month rather than by full date, mixing years together. Sorting now uses the complete date value, so records appear in true chronological order.
  • Contacts | Filter and Sort
Contacts in Accounts Receivable can now be filtered and sorted, similar to the existing customer sort functionality.

Accounts Payable

  • Open Item Maintenance | Invoice History Range Options
Users can now limit the invoice history loaded when viewing vendor open items to the current, 3, 6, 9, or 12 months (the current default). This reduces load times for vendors with large invoice volumes while leaving existing behavior unchanged for anyone who keeps the default setting.
  • Contacts | Filter and Sort
Contacts in Accounts Payable can now be filtered and sorted, similar to the existing customer sort functionality.

General Ledger

  • Account Lookup | Sticky Search
The Account lookup screen now supports a persistent search on Account Number and Account Description, consistent with the search behavior already used in Catalog and other lookups. The list stays filtered on your last search until it's cleared or you exit the application.

B2B Catalog Process

  • B2B Catalog | Rebuild Catalog Name Improvement
When a rebuild encounters an item whose new product information already exists elsewhere in the catalog under a different SKU, the system now updates the item's color/description to include the box quantity, helping avoid naming conflicts during catalog rebuilds.

Reporting & Utilities

Accounts Payable

  • Invoice Register History | Cleaner Excel Export
The Sold To Email field in the Invoice Register History Excel report is now sanitized so that commas within an email address no longer shift data into extra columns.

API & Integrations

ODBC

  • Order Line Notes Now Available
Order line notes are now accessible via ODBC, making it easier to pull line-level notes for reporting and integrations without calling the API line by line.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Sales Processing

  • Order Entry | Cancel/Close Now Correctly Blocked When Paid Labor Exists
Jobs with paid labor lines could still be cancelled or closed when the Service Charge feature was active, bypassing the usual protection. Cancel/Close is now correctly disallowed whenever paid labor lines exist, regardless of Service Charge status.
  • Committed Inventory | Line Status Now Matches Order Entry
Line status shown in Committed Inventory previously listed all assigned material as "Job Costed" regardless of its actual status. The screen now reflects the same line status shown in Order Entry, giving a more accurate picture of committed material.
  • Salesperson Payables | Reports Failing to Generate
Some users were being blocked from printing or exporting the Commissions Report and Open Item Report, receiving an error or being returned to the start screen with no report generated. This has been resolved.

Inventory Control

  • Manual Inventory Adjustment | Available and Reserved Quantities Miscalculated
In certain cases, a manual inventory adjustment could unexpectedly recalculate the available and reserved quantities along with the on-hand amount. This has been resolved.

Job Cost

  • Job Cost Detail | Incorrect Branch Data When Printed from a Different Branch
Printing Job Cost Detail while logged into a branch other than the job's branch could pull data using the wrong branch's settings. The report now correctly uses the job's own branch.

Purchase Orders

  • Print PO Report | Filters Not Applied to Printed Output
The Print PO Report was correctly filtering the on-screen results, but the printed/PDF output ignored the applied filters and included all records for the current year. Printed output now correctly matches the applied filters.

Installation System

  • Packing Slip | Printing Error on Certain Jobs
A printing error was preventing the Packing Slip from generating on certain jobs due to invalid characters in the job data. A cleanup has been applied to resolve this.

Accounts Receivable

  • Post Customer Payments | Duplicate Reference Numbers When Pasting
Pasting a reference number with leading zeros into Post Customer Payments could cause those zeros to be dropped, and pasting a second time to correct it could create a duplicate record behind the scenes. Duplicate reference numbers from pasting are now blocked.

Accounts Payable

  • Vendor History by GL Report | Missing Non-PO Electronic Transactions
The Vendor History by GL Report was excluding Non-PO Electronic Transactions that appeared in Open Item Maintenance. These items are now included in the report.
  • Inventory Cost Change Report | PDF Cutting Off Last Column
The last column of the Inventory Cost Change Report was being cut off when printed to PDF. The report layout has been updated to prevent this.
  • EFT Remittance Email | Sent to Both AP and AR Contacts
When a vendor ID was also used for an AR contact, EFT remittance emails were being sent to both the AP and AR email addresses instead of only the intended AP contact. Remittance emails now go only to the correct AP contact.

System Maintenance

  • EFT Remittance Email Template | Missing Information
The EFT remittance email template was missing the invoice number and vendor name in certain workflows, and custom file naming wasn't being applied correctly when the file was sent. These issues have been corrected.

Integrated Payments

  • Broadlume Payments | Terminal Transactions Not Saving Address for Card Token
Cards saved from a card-present tokenization (CPT) terminal transaction were not retaining the billing address, causing address verification errors when the saved card was used later. Customer address information is now correctly captured on payment methods when it was previously blank.
  • Gravity/Charge It Pro | Credit Memo Refunds Not Processing
Some Gravity refunds were failing to process, returning an error and requiring the transaction to be handled outside of RollMaster. Gravity transaction validation has been added to credit memo processing to resolve this.
