Understanding the Install Calendar – Color Codes, Icons, and Hover Behavior

Overview: The Install Calendar displays scheduled jobs by installer and date, with visual cues that convey job status, invoicing, and documentation details.

Color Coding [1]: Each colored block represents a scheduled labor line. Different colors on the same job indicate different accumulator codes/materials (e.g., carpet, wood, tile) being installed.

Hover Highlight [2]: Hovering over a job block highlights all related blocks for the same job across other installers and dates, making it easy to see the full scope of a job spread across the schedule.

Icons and Indicators: Each block can display a row of icons in a consistent order:

  • Position 1 – Invoice status [3]: No icon = uninvoiceable; dollar bill icon = invoiceable (ready to submit); $ icon = invoice submitted.
  • Position 2 – Job notes [3]: Files/document icon indicates job notes are attached.
  • Position 3 – eDocs [3]: Paperclip icon indicates eDocs are attached to the job.
  • Position 4 – Completion Tracking [4]: A fraction such as "1/2" or "2/2" shows the current day of work out of the total completion days needed (e.g., "1/2" = day 1 of a 2-day job).

Job Details Popup [5]: Hovering over a job displays a detail card showing:

  • Branch ID and Order number
  • Customer name and address/contact info
  • Sales person
  • Labor codes (quantity, material type, and assigned installer/contractor)
