✨ Enhancements

User Experience Improvements

  • QR Codes | Batch Processing to Improve Performance
QR code generation is now batched in groups to significantly improve performance when creating large sets of labels.

  • Catalog Pricing Maintenance | Lock Branch and Vendor Fields on Edit
When editing catalog records, the Branch and Vendor selection fields are now locked to prevent unintentional changes.

  • A/R – Customer Account Maintenance & A/P – Open Item Maintenance | Simplified Negative Sign Entry
Entry of negative values has been simplified across key screens—users no longer need to manually type the negative sign.

  • General Ledger | Improved Messaging During End-of-Month and End-of-Year Close
System messages during end-of-month and end-of-year processing have been clarified and streamlined for easier understanding.

  • A/R Check Number Import | Update and Make Available in Post Customer Payments
Enabled importing payments into Post Customer Payments, now accessible under the "Functions" dropdown.

Reporting & Utilities

  • Detailed Job Cost View/Print | Standard and Owners' Version Enhancements
The Owners' Version Detailed Job Cost View has been modernized to match the Standard version’s formatting. Both versions now support Excel export, providing greater flexibility for reporting and analysis.

  • Catalog (A-J) Pricing Maintenance | Print Price List Improvements
Improved formatting for printed price lists, resolving line break issues and adding options to include special pricing. Excel exports now include additional columns for Catalog Sequence, Product Type, Product Code Description, and Sales Price.

  • A/P by Branch Improvements | Excel Output & Control Logic
Enhancements to A/P by branch reporting and control logic include:

    • PO Branch Columns: Added to Excel outputs for A/P Open Item Listing, Items Selected for Payment, and A/P Open Item Aging reports.

    • Dropdown Selectors: Branch and Region filters added to A/P Payment Selection.

    • Branch Logic: When A/P by Branch is N (default), the login branch is passed into A/P Open Item Maintenance; when Y, the user must input the Branch ID.

  • Inventory Valuation | Standardize Rounding Output
Updated rounding logic ensures consistent three-decimal display for cost-related fields across all valuation reports.

  • B2B Catalog Processing | Add Excel Output to Maintenance History Detail
Maintenance History Detail can now be exported to Excel, improving data analysis and reporting.

  • Automated Report Maintenance | Improve Email Distribution Report Content
Enhanced reporting differentiates clearly between all-branch and branch-level recipients.

Broadlume Payments

  • Auto-Match Payment Made from Click-to-Pay
This enhancement streamlines payment processing, reduces manual effort, and improves accuracy for payments received via the click-to-pay feature. Payments are automatically applied to the correct invoice, order, or AR item, and a new deposit or payment is created when needed.

🐞 Bug Fixes

Sales Processing

  • Quotes/Order, Add Line | Margin Calculation Excluding Work/Sale Quantities
Resolved a bug where margin calculation incorrectly included work and sale quantities, ensuring margins are now calculated accurately.

  • Quote Conversion | Convert Closed Quotes
Fixed an issue where closed quotes could be converted, causing error popups and unintended job creation. Users can now only convert open quotes.

  • Credit Memo | View Distributions (Broadlume Payments) COBOL Error
Addressed a COBOL error that occurred when processing refunds via View Distributions in BL Payments. The fix also updates the Invoice Lookup to include all invoices with balances greater than zero.

  • Sales Processing, Invoicing | Margin % Calculation Discrepancy
Corrected a margin percentage calculation error on the Invoice Selection Screen. Margin is now calculated based on the subtotal, excluding taxes and fees, for accurate reporting.

  • Progress Billing | Sales Tax Rounding Issue
Fixed a rounding discrepancy in sales tax calculations for progress billing, aligning invoice detail, general ledger Operating/Sales journal, and actual tax records.

  • Property Management Templates | Inactivate All Templates & Logging
Enhanced the mass closure of templates by adding a confirmation prompt, displaying the number of templates affected, and logging user actions. The log file records the user and the count of templates inactivated for improved audit tracking. Password protection for the Inactivate All feature has also been implemented.

Inventory Control

  • Inventory Maintenance | Remove Item From Transit Report Breaking Multi-Bin
Resolved a bug where the "Remove from Transit Report" option in Inventory Maintenance failed to clear the transit flag, causing issues with item receipt and multi-bin record integrity. The feature is now restricted to Support-only to prevent accidental misuse and ensure proper handling of transit items.

Job Cost

  • Maintenance/View | Screens Have Bad Instructions
Fixed misleading instructions on the Job Cost Maintenance screen by removing the "(ESC) Exit" text from the top-right corner.

Accounts Receivable

  • Post Customer Payments

    • Customer “None” Process Not Requiring Pay Type Selection
Fixed a bug where selecting “None” as the customer allowed users to change the pay type to “Select” and press “Add Payment,” causing system errors. The process now correctly prevents invalid entries.

    • Sorting Causes Errors & Incorrect Postings
Resolved issues where sorting and filtering payments could result in errors or incorrect postings if the selected payment was not highlighted. Added prompts requiring users to re-highlight the correct record before processing continues.

  • Customer Web Setup | Prepopulate Customer ID Field
Prepopulated the Customer ID field for new web logins and prevented overwriting of existing customer data.

General Ledger

  • Account Maintenance | Inactivate Account Messaging Clarification
Improved error messaging when inactivating GL accounts linked to inactive pay types.

B2B Catalog Processing

  • B2B Catalog Processing | Roll Carpet Imported Box Quantity Data
Fixed discrepancies between required quantities and box quantities for imported carpet styles. Updates include handling Unit of Measure (UOM) and color-level box quantity logic, as well as improvements to import routines.

System Maintenance

  • User Control Print | Index Out of Bounds
Resolved issues with exporting large datasets to Excel, where record limits could trigger errors. Users are now notified when record counts approach the maximum (15,500) and advised to clean up or reduce records. While larger limits were considered, a notification system was prioritized to manage maximum record handling safely.
  • User Control 4 | Allow Edit of Customer Credit Fields
Restored visibility of the Salesperson 2 field when the control is set to N. Adjustments were made to prevent field overlap and ensure correct display for specific user configurations.
