How do I re-align my QR code printer?
Broadlume BMS's (formerly RollMaster) recommended printer is the Zebra ZD220 203 dpi Barcode Printer, and we'll also include these compatible 2" x 2" Square Direct Thermal Labels.
Note 1: The following are instructions and will include screenshots for a Windows operating system.
Note 2: Your Broadlume BMS (formerly Rollmaster) menus may vary depending on permissions.
- Go to your computer's Task bar, choose the magnifying glass, and search for Printers & Scanners
- Locate your QR code printer > choose Manage
- Choose Manage Printer > Printer Properties > Advanced > Printer Defaults
- Ensure the Width and Height = 2”
- Ensure the Media type is Labels with gaps
- Ensure the Rotation is 0* - Portrait
- Select Apply > Okay
- Choose Print Options > Printing Mode
- Ensure Direct Thermal is selected > Choose Apply > Okay > Okay
- Open Broadlume BMS > System Maintenance > Hardware Maintenance > Printer Setup & Maintenance
- Ensure Foxit is installed
- Choose the Add New button
- We recommend naming the printer “QRCodes2x2” or similar for easy reference in the Printer Name field, then select Barcode Printer for the Printer Type and the 2" Portrait Radio button
- Choose the name of your QR Code Printer by hitting Remap > Print
- Hit Apply > Save
- Log out of the system and then back in to complete the changes
