Broadlume Payments Website Links and Buttons

Applies to: Broadlume Payments

Use this article to understand whether you can add a payment link on your website with Broadlume Payments and what that would look like.

Does Not Cover: Cyncly Payments, Cyncly Pay, Gravity, or Payments Flex

Broadlume Payments merchants can add a link, a button, or both to their website so customers can easily pay online anytime. When your customer clicks on one of these, they will be taken to your default payment URL to enter a payment type and dollar amount. Your default URL will not have any pre-populated fields, and your customers will be able to type in what they choose with a note to reference where it should be applied.

If you have multiple locations and, therefore, multiple payment URLs, additional consideration must be taken. You will need to decide whether you would like to direct all website payments to a single location or if you intend to add multiple buttons/links and direct your customers to use the correct one for their purposes. Please note that adding multiple buttons/links opens the door to potential confusion for both your customers and your team when reconciling banking. Whether this will be an issue will depend partially on how your bookkeeping is set up and whether the money in your locations flows through different bank accounts.

The payment link can be added on the landing page as a top-level menu item or drop-down under the top-level menu item.

A button can be added in the footer of the page.
