PenSoft Payroll Service Signup Forms Due to 2020 w-4 tax changes, BMS payroll will be discontinued 12/31/2019. As the Federal, State and Local laws change--which will be considerable for the 2020 Tax Year--and add complexity to our client’s tax liabilities and reporting obligations, we believe that everyone will be better served by outsourcing BMS Payroll processing to an outside specialist. Therefore we have made the decision to phase out the BMS Payroll module. We will conduct one last Payroll EOY Webinar on 12/4/19 at noon Eastern.
To assist in the transition away from the BMS Payroll module, we have partnered with PenSoft who offers a variety of hosted Payroll Services. PenSoft has 30+ years of expertise in Payroll processing services and support. Their hosted payroll service starts at $70/month and includes many features that BMS payroll lacks, such as automatically downloading tax tables. Attached to this article is an enrollment form for their services. Also attached is a list of additional optional services available, such as direct deposit and employee portal. They are also posted on their website: www.pensoft.com.
The “PenSoft Hosting Agreement” is required if you want to convert and use the PenSoft hosting service. The “PenSoft Web Services Agreement” is required if you want to use PenSoft’s optional services. Items B, C and D on page 2 are the most requested ones, but all are optional; you can select none, one (1) or more to fit your business needs.
Also, you can use Paychex, ADP, or any other outside Payroll Service and BMS can assist with showing you how to import payroll data back into the General Ledger for financial reporting purposes via Excel.
