Can I Rename a Template in BMS?

Can a Template be renamed in the Business Management Software (BMS) system?
Users cannot change the name of an existing template in BMS. However, an alternative is to copy the template, save it under a new name, and then delete the unwanted template or make it inactive.

To Copy a Template:

1. Navigate to Sales Processing > Property Management / Builders Templates
2. Double-click on the desired template 
3. Hit Functions - Copy to Template
4. Select a Customer ID to copy the Template to
5. Select the appropriate Ship To Code and Enter the Unit Type as the new name
6. Click Copy
7. You will see a confirmation on the screen that displays "Property has been copied."
8. At this point, you can go back to the old Template and either delete it or mark it as inactive

To Delete a Template:

1. Navigate to Sales Processing > Property Management / Builders Templates
2. Double-click on the desired Template 
3. Hit Functions - Delete Template

To Make a Template Inactive:

1. Navigate to Sales Processing > Property Management / Builders Templates
2. Double-click on the desired Template 
3. Click the button labeled Active near the top of the screen
4. Doing this will render the Template inactive, as reflected on the same button
