Work Order Printing Partial Shipping - Text Version
The information below covers how to print specific lines on a work order or partially ship labor or material on a work order. This covers the text version only, not the new graphical version
If you wish to print a partial Work Order or customize the Work Order to print only certain job lines, you can manually edit the ShipNow quantity of each line. Prior to printing a Work Order, the ShipNow quantities on all lines will be set to zero. Just above the ShipNow field, the Work Quantity for each line will display. If more lines will be shipping on the Work Order than not, it is best to use the (F1) key to select all lines and then arrow to each line that will not ship and manually edit the ShipNow field—only the lines with a quantity in the ShipNow field when a Work Order is printed will be considered shipped out of the warehouse. If fewer lines will ship than not, it is easier to arrow directly to each line and edit the ShipNow field for the amount that is shipping and then only those lines will be considered shipped out of the warehouse once you print and update the Work Order. To edit a line, position the cursor on the line you wish to edit and hit enter.
The (F3) Print key will take you through the printing process. If you wish to delete certain lines from the current printout, use the (F4) Del key. Simply position the cursor on the line you wish to delete and hit the (F4) key. The line will instantly be removed from the screen. This does not remove it from the job, only the current printout.
