This article contains specific steps to clear a User in RollMaster from the System Maintenance module
You may click here for a video tutorial of this process.
A few examples where you, as the customer, might use this feature:
- A User went to lunch or left for the day and is idle in RollMaster
- Too many people are logged in at once and your license count is at its maximum
- A User lost power or connectivity on their computer and was left stuck inside a module
- You need Users out of the system for a reason related to business operations or system updates
First, navigate to System Maintenance:
Next, choose Hardware Maintenance:
From here, choose Backup Data to Test System:
In this screen, select View Current Users (Clear Locks):
In the next screen, hit Refresh Lists at the top of the window. This will show you all Users currently logged into the system:
Release the lock by selecting the corresponding Client/User line as seen below. Once selected, right click and choose " Disconnect this Process ".
Note: please use caution in clearing the correct User, as doing so will completely terminate their session:
Once you have cleared the User, they will need to login again to access the system. Please note: the number of Active Licenses should not exceed the number of System Licenses. If this does occur, you can continue clearing Users (including duplicate logins) until the number of Active Licenses is less than your allotted System Licenses.
