Banking Info Printing Incorrectly on MICR Printer Here is the information you need to load the MICR font to the printer:
The program is called download.exe and is found in the downloads/ MICRlj folder (name may be slightly off).
There should be a shortcut on the desktop to this program named "MICR Font Downloader". It should also be pinned it to the Windows "Start Menu".
The MICR Font Downloader questions/answers are:
Font: Use "MI100R08"
Printer: Use the generic printer set up for printing checks
Font ID: 23 (this is default used by BMS but can be changed as long as BMS is changed accordingly)
Click "download" button. You should get "font downloaded" and be prompted for next font. Click "exit".
In BMS check print program, using a plain sheet of paper, test font by selecting "Settings", "Test MICR print".
If all is good, you are ready to print checks.
