Displaying Ship To Notes and Job Number Notes on Work Orders
BMS offers a feature in Order Entry (which also appears in Quote Entry), where Ship To Notes (also known as Job Location Notes and Customer Address Notes) and Job Number Notes will display on printed Work Orders as long as the notes are preceded by an asterisk *. Rules apply, so read below for how to use this feature.

It's important to point out the system only prints Ship To Notes and Job Number Notes located on the first page of the Notes program and they must be preceded by an "*". A User can verify the page at the bottom of the Notes window (ex: Page 01 of 02, 02 of 02, etc.) A total of 18 lines from each Notes program will print on the Text and Graphical Work Order if they are preceded by an "*", which means there could be up to 36 total iines.

Notes entered on page 1 of these Notes programs will print on both the Text and Graphical Work Orders, as long as the note is preceded by an asterisk * :

Please Note: in the example above, if the second line is to print on the Work Order, it would also require an "*" as follows: *ORDER DOCUMENTS. The program does not work like a Word Doc.

Notes entered on page 2 will not print on the Work Order, even if preceded by an asterisk * :
