Permissions to Add or Delete Comments Recent changes were made in BMS with regard to permissions in Line Comments and Notes. You might notice a change in some User's ability to edit or delete Line Comments
To ensure all Users have the correct permissions, navigate to System Maintenance > System Control Maintenance > User Control > User Control 2. Type the User ID and hit Enter down to the last control for "Allowed to change notes after entry". Typing a Y at this setting will give full access to edit / delete / change Notes in BMS.
If the control is set to N, press Enter again and a second box will appear. This box controls permissions for editing / deleting various comment lines in BMS:
The first question covers Floor Plan Comment Lines and controls a User's ability to edit / delete these comments.
The second question covers all other Comment Lines in BMS and controls whether the User can edit / delete comments.
