How Do I Set Up a 64‑Bit XDBC/ODBC Connection?

Enable 64‑bit ODBC connectivity to RollMaster by installing the appropriate driver and configuring it correctly.

📥 1. Download the 64‑bit ODBC Driver

🛠 2. Extract and Install the ODBC Driver

1. Unzip the downloaded file to a local folder.

2. Locate and run the extend(R) Versio installer.

• When prompted, choose the default installation location.

• Only one component is required for XDBC connections: AcuXDBC™ Data Interface for Windows

• Make sure to enable adding the installation path to your system environment.

📁 3. Copy Driver Files

• Navigate to: C:\Program Files\Micro Focus and copy everything from that folder.

• Paste the files into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Micro Focus

• From either location, copy these four essential files into: C:\Windows\System32

🔄 5. Restart Your Computer

A system restart is required for all environment changes to take effect.

⚙️ 6. Configure ODBC Data Source

• After rebooting, open the 64‑bit Windows ODBC Data Source Administrator.

  • Note: 32‑bit ODBC connections won’t work here.

• Set up your DSN using the provided configuration details from Broadlume support.
